Our Practice

Our Story

Q Street Animal Hospital was established in 1964 and takes pride in developing a wonderful and wide-ranging clientele, caring for countless patients along the way.

Commitment

All of us at Q Street Animal Hospital have great compassion for pets and the families that care for them. We have worked hard to bring together knowledgeable staff and doctors, a full range of diagnostic, anesthetic, and surgical equipment, as well as a functional flow for the physical hospital. We frequently attend Continuing Education courses to keep our knowledge current and we reinvest in the clinic to upgrade equipment and the facility. Our passion is to provide the best possible care for your pets.

Community

We have a strong belief in reducing the overpopulation of pets. We’ve been involved with the Greenhill Humane Society. Dr. Swanson served on the board of directors and helped develop the current spay and neuter facility. We are also involved with Lane County Animal Service. We have volunteered time doing spays and neuters for feral cats. We have worked hard to structure our own clinic protocols to facilitate convenient and affordable spays and neuters.

Vision Statement

Our practice vision statement is to provide personalized care while conveying an exceptional level of professionalism, compassion, and competence that gives each individual client the peace of mind to know that their pet is receiving the best possible care.

Mission Statement

Our practice mission is:

  1. To consistently offer exceptional quality and compassionate service from a friendly and professional staff in a manner that exceeds clients’ expectations.
  2. Treat each client and their pet(s) as individuals. To genuinely listen and appreciate their concerns and give them personalized attention and care.
  3. To develop and maintain a harmonious working environment in which staff members have the opportunity for growth and where team members accept one another and treat each other with respect.
  4. To strive to improve our knowledge base and skills as well as be ever more attentive to the needs of the clients and patients.
