Michelle is our Practice Manager. She joined our team as a Customer Service Representative after being a client at the clinic with her two wonderful kitties. She said yes and we said yes (not to get too corny), and it has been a match made in heaven since then. In the past, Michelle has been a restaurant supervisor, and worked in retail; so she brings great customer service skills to our clinic. She is very sweet and compassionate, and goes out of her way to help our clients and patients.
Kerri has a great deal of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician, so we are very lucky to have her on our team as our Lead Tech. She is very active with her family in the community. Kerri has two daughters that are involved in many activities such as ice skating, volleyball, and equestrian events. She also has several animals- including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. This all keeps her very busy.
Mark has been with us for a number of years. He graduated from LCC with a background in horticulture and managed the Lane Community Gardens during his tenure at LCC. Mark has nearly completed his degree at OSU in Zoology. He has also been volunteering at the Raptor Center for many years. We really enjoy Mark and his calm demeanor (our clients and their pets do as well).
Beth (as she prefers to go by) is a wonderful and caring part of our team. Prior to joining us, she worked in the human medicine field as a CNA. Now she is a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and works at our clinic in front positions as well as being an integral part of our back/treatment staff. Beth enjoys being the pet mom of cats and dogs, as well as ferrets and bearded dragons.
Mary Jane is our Head Customer Service Representative. She has a great deal of experience with clients, and always has the animal’s best interests at heart. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband of over 20 years, and three boys who are almost all fully grown and onto their next big adventure. Mary Jane also has 2 cats and 2 dogs at home that keep her company as well.
Megan originally joined us on a part-time basis while she attends school at the University of Oregon. She is pursuing a degree in Biology with the goal of becoming a Veterinarian one day. She has also volunteered and worked with several rescue groups taking care of numerous cats and dogs. She’s incredibly sweet and capable, and we are all pleased to have her here.
Korbin primarily works as a Veterinary Assistant. He has wonderful compassion for the pets and a strong desire to understand how to help them. Korbin has traveled to many of the National Parks taking in the sites and doing many hikes with his K9 best friend. Having originally been from the Bay area, he enjoys being away from traffic, taking in the Northwest sites, and helping as many pets as possible.
After earning a degree in veterinary assistance from Ashworth College, Megan started her exciting career in the veterinary field. From 2014 until now she has dedicated a lot of her time to client education, continued education, and last but not least, patient care. She is currently attending Penn Foster to earn her Associate’s degree in veterinary technology. Megan spends the rest of her time with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
Kristine works with us on Saturdays only. She has another full-time job, goes to school, fills in for us on occasion, and manages to raise a family. Kristine also has several animals that she cares for including 2 dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. She’s adequately skilled having worked as a technician at another hospital in the past, so we’re very happy that she decided to join Q Street.
Shanah has a strong passion for pets and their families. She and her husband have two daughters and enjoy pets of their own as well as camping, fishing, and just enjoying Oregon! She worked at The Ark Veterinary Clinic for years- then went into human medicine. We are glad to have her back in the veterinary field with us. She is doing a great job, and is pushing herself to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Laura is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She worked here years ago and helped us to develop many of our early surgical and hospitalized patient protocols. Laura then had the opportunity to work with the Eugene City Spay and Neuter Clinic and helped them reform and improve. We are glad to once again have her working with us. Of course, she has pets of her own — three orange cats (she has a soft spot for orange cats — and her husband likes them too).
Malena joined us after having some experience with animals working at Pet Smart, and taking classes to become a dog trainer. She’s a very kind person, and always does her best taking care of the animals while perfecting her skills. Malena has a Poodle Mix that’s attached to her hip outside of work.
Amy is a very skilled technician having worked on all kinds of animals at other vet hospitals in the area, so we were very fortunate to be able to add her to our team. She primarily works with us as a Customer Service Representative, but also assists our back staff when it’s needed. Amy shares her home with her boyfriend, cat, and two big bunny rabbits.
The newest member of our Q Street family, Tailynn came to us having just worked at Dutch Bros. She also has various other customer service experience, so she gets along very well with our clients. She hadn’t worked in the animal industry before coming to us, but is enjoying learning something new every day as a Vet Assistant.
