Michelle is our Practice Manager. She joined our team after being a client at the clinic with her two wonderful kitties. She said yes and we said yes, not to get too corny, and it has been a match made in heaven since then. Michelle has been a Supervisor at a restaurant, and also worked for the Gap a few years ago, so she brings great customer service skills to our clinic. She is very sweet and compassionate, and goes out of her way to help our clients and patients.
Demi has worked for many years as an animal nurse and a certified technician. She is a tremendous resource of knowledge having had many years of experience in the veterinary field. Demi is a hard worker and is often one of the first staff to arrive and last to leave. She has many pets of her own. On days off she enjoys having coffee with her friends and spending time with her family. Demi has a very gentle and compassionate way with our clients and patients. We are very glad to have her as part of our team.
Kerri has a great deal of experience as a certified veterinary technician. Kerri is very active with her family in the community, She is one of the advisors for OHSET. She has two daughters that are involved in many activities such as ice skating, volleyball and equestrian events. This keeps her very busy. We are lucky to have her on our team
Mark has been with us for a number of years. Mark graduated from LCC with a background in horticulture and managed the Lane Community Gardens during his tenure at LCC. Mark has nearly completed his degree at OSU in zoology. He has been volunteering at the Raptor Center for many years. We really enjoy Mark and his calm demeanor (our clients and their pets do as well.)
Elisabeth is a wonderful and caring part of our team. Prior to joining us, she worked in the human medicine field as a CNA. Now Elisabeth is a certified veterinary assistant and works at our clinic in front positions as well as being an integral part of our back/treatment staff. Elisabeth is the Pet mom of one bearded dragon, 3 cats, 2 ferrets and a dog.
Mckinley joined us in 2016. She is an avid conservationist and animal lover. She has a passion for wildlife rehabilitation. She volunteers at the Cascade Raptor Center. She has recently been accepted in the the veterinary program at OSU. Her passion and focus will be exotics and avian. We have no doubt that she will be a great veterinarian.
Ruben is a certified veterinary assistant. He moved here from Las Vegas. Ruben brings a gentleness and caring that is very heartwarming to our clients and patients. Some of our large canine patients are really calmed with his demeanor. He brings a sense of humor to our team and goes out of his way to make us all smile. Ruben brings a sense of balance and we are glad that he is here at the clinic.
Mary Jane jumped in right away and has been a big help to our clinic. She has a great deal of experience with clients, and always has the animal’s best interests at heart. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband of over 20 years, and three boys who are almost all fully grown and onto their next big adventure. Mary Jane also has 3 cats and 3 dogs at home that keep her company as well.
Megan joined us on a part-time basis while she attends school at the University of Oregon. She is pursuing a degree in Biology with the goal of becoming a Veterinarian one day. She has also volunteered and worked with several rescue groups taking care of numerous cats and dogs. She’s incredibly sweet and capable, and we are all pleased to have her here.
Trisha is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She brings with her a lot of experience, knowledge, skill, and compassion. Prior to moving to the Eugene/Springfield area, she has been busy! Trisha grew up in Washington. She served 4.5 years in the Army as a Medic and had the opportunity to spend time in Korea. After the service, she went to Vet Tech school and worked at a couple of different clinics in the Seattle area. Trisha is now married with a growing family, as well as 3 cats and 2 dogs.
As a team member, Korbin primarily works as a Veterinary Assistant. He will also be filling in at the front desk at times. He has wonderful compassion for the pets and a strong desire to understand how to help them. With his girlfriend and dog, Korbin has traveled to many of the National Parks taking in the sites and doing many hikes. Having originally been from the Bay area, he is ready to be away from traffic, take in the northwest sites, and help as many pets as possible.
